THE AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMEBER, 2022
- We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
- We remember those celebrating their birthdays. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections. Amen.
- A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
- You are invited to the African Chaplaincy Mass of Remembrance for the dead on Friday 18th November, 2022 via zoom. Time: 8pm. Our members are requested to send the names to be placed on the altar list for the dead to their Centre Coordinator as soon as possible. Note: The names of people that died this year will be called out during the Mass.
- A gentle reminder of the African Chaplaincy Training for Lay Readers on Saturday 3rd December 2022 at the Chaplaincy Office, Crosscare, Mainstreet, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Time: 1pm- 3pm. New and current readers are encouraged to attend.
- You are invited to the African Chaplaincy Advent Retreat on Saturday 10th December 2022 at 11am, via zoom. Zoom link will be sent as soon as possible.
- You are invited to the African Chaplaincy Christmas Carol on Sunday 11th December, 2022 at St Vincent’s Castleknock College, Dublin 15. Zoom link will provided for those that cannot join in person. Time: 7pm
- There will be no African Masses in Blanchardstown and Swords Centres on 25th December, 2022. All are urged to join their local Parishes for the Christmas celebrations.
- You are invited to the African Chaplaincy New Year Vigil Mass on Saturday 31st December, 2022, via zoom. Time: 9:30pm.
- You are invited to the Memorial Mass of Late Pa Jimmy Kenny Appiah on Friday, 2nd December, 2022 at St Aidan’s Catholic Church, Brookfield Tallaght, Dublin, 24. Time: 7:30pm. Late Pa Appiah was the father of Sister Patricia Toah of Tallaght Centre. Aged 76years.
- The death has been reported of Mr Oluyemi Isaac Owabumuwa, the eldest brother of Sister Comfort Chima and Sister Maybell Owa of Swords Centre. He died in Nigeria. Aged 76 years.
- The death has also been announced of Madam Rose Ukata in Nigeria. Aged 79 years. She was the mother of Sis Joy Frederick of Blanchardstown Centre.
- The African Chaplaincy, Dublin continues to commiserate with Bro Azuka and Sis Charity Nwajei on the death of Mrs Beatrice Olisanweokwu Nwajei. Late Mrs Nwajei was the mother of the Coordinator of the Balbriggan Centre, Bro Azuka Nwajei. She was 94yrs old. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Nwajei family at this time.
- The Chaplaincy commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
