BLANCHARDSTOWN CENTRE

Our mass holds every Fourth Sunday of the month at 2pm at St Brigid’s Church Blanchardstown

Blanchardstown centre (“Centre of Grace and Excellence”) was created within the African Chaplaincy on the 25th March 2007.

The centre has its members drawn mostly from around Dublin 15 and has remained a strong feature within the catholic community and Dublin 15 area as a whole.

The members of the Centre of Grace and Excellence have been part of the committee organising the annual “Mass of all Nations” in St Brigid’s Church Blnachardstown.

As a community of faith we encourage each other to develop our spiritual and social needs through activities such as:

  • Weekly Prayer and Fasting organised by CWO
  • Monthly Prayer and Fasting organised by CMO
  • May and October devotions
  • Summer and Easter camps for children and youths organised by CWO
  • Family summer picnics, Christmas parties
  • Recognition and blessing of children that did first Holy Communion and Confirmation during the year
  • Annual lunch organised by CYO to celebrate the members that completed Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate respectively

We continue to grow and encourage each other to use our God given talents to work in the chaplaincy, in our different local parishes and in the wider community.
