AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY NEWS AND CURRENT AFFAIRS

AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY ANNOUNCEMENT TAKEN ON SATURDAY 30TH NOVEMBER 2024.

  1. Blanchardstown Centre hosted the last Family Rosary on Saturday 30th of November.

2. The Next Family Rosary will be hosted by Lucan/Clondalkin Centre the 7th of December 2024 at 8pm.

  1. On the 1st SUNDAY of the month of December which is the 1st Sunday of Advent. Our African Chaplaincy Mass will hold at St. Peter’s Church, Phibsboro, D15 @ 2:15PM

The Centre will be celebrating their Christmas family thanksgiving. All members are encouraged to attend the Mass and be part of their Christmas Family Thanksgiving which promises a lot of fun activities, food and drinks.

  1. We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
  2. We remember all those celebrating their birthday today and in the month of November. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections. Amen.
  3. A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
  4. We thank everyone who went out yesterday to vote in General Elections to ensure we have a voice in how we are governed. We also pray that God would direct those who form the next government to rule aright for the good of our country and her citizens. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.
  5. We congratulate the members and leadership of the CWO for the success of their 2024 AGM which held on Saturday 30th November 2024.
  6. The Chaplaincy is saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs Campbell who died recently in Nigeria following a brief illness. The Chaplaincy will communicate further information regarding her funeral when they become available. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

The Chaplaincy commiserates also with all our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

  3. New Year Vigil Mass comes up on 31st December 2024. Venue and time TBC
  4. We thank our dear chaplain, all church functionaries and the entire membership of the African Catholic Chaplaincy Family for your dedication to the service of God and mankind. May God continue to bless and increase you as you serve in His vineyard through Christ our Lord we pray, Amen
